Juice Along With Jason – The Classics: Lemon Ginger Zinger

Hello, my juicy friends and welcome to the first of ‘Juice Along With Jason – The Classics’.

This is where I we go back in time and make some of the true classics from over the years, that have stood the test of time.

The first recipe was made famous by Martina Navratilova and is a classic from my 7-Day Juice Diet. We also serve it at juicemasterretreats.com and at juicemasterdelivered.com

It’s the Lemon Ginger Zinger and here’s what you need:

👉3 Small Carrots (or 2 Large)
👉3 Small Apples (or 2 Large)
👉1 Small Lemon (unwaxed)
👉Nice chunk of fresh ginger
👉Ice (optional)

Don’t underestimate the nutritional power of seemingly ‘simple’ ingredients. This juice is loaded with vitamins and minerals and good amounts of soluble fibre, especially if made in a cold press juicer. Ginger is a natural antihistamine, antibiotic, it also has anti-fungal properties and is a wonderful decongestant. The carrots are where you’ll find the majority of the minerals as well as beta-carotene. The lemon provides plenty of vitamin C and the apple juice is where you’ll find the soluble fibre in the form of pectin.

Tomorrow I’ll be making perhaps the most famous smoothie I have ever created, the original TURBO CHARGE SMOOTHIE. If you want to join in from 9am tomorrow, you’ll need the following ingredients:

👉Avocado
👉Pineapple
👉Cucumber
👉Fresh spinach
👉Lime
👉Apples
👉Celery
